Synopsis:

The play is a mixture of two typical Finnish dramatic genres: folk theatre and urban realism. The result is something like Finnish commedia dell'arte, a coming-of-age drama, situated at the crossroads of an agrarian society and an urban environment. It follows the everyday life of two brothers by mixing fantasy and mundane reality, and is presented with a moderate absurdity. The brothers are slightly phlegmatic, even lazy, but they supplement their mundane existence with their wild imagination. (Tinfo/Sunklo)
